By Asher Synder - Friday, two of the best teams in Palm Beach County faceoff. Atlantic wants revenge on West Boca from last year. Last year, West Boca beat Atlantic 23-22 in a close game in the first round of the playoffs. However this year, Atlantic has multiple transfers. 4 star RB Deandre Desinor transferred in from American Heritage Broward. Legend Felician an ATH transferred to Atlantic from Inlet Grove. Teddy Hoffman, a 3 star transferred, in from St. Andrews. Teddy also has some experience against West Boca. Last year, his team beat West Boca 10- 7 in overtime.
On the other hand, West Boca has also had some notable transfers. Damon Allen, a WR and CB transferred to West Boca from Palm Beach Central. 3 star WR Mark Hanniford transferred from Atlantic to West Boca.
Atlantic played Benjamin last week. Benjamin is a top 10 ranked school in Palm Beach County. Atlantic beat Benjamin 21-14. 3 star FAU commit Teddy Hoffman had 2 of the 3 touchdowns. West Boca played Palm Beach Gardens last week. They won 48-0.
Atlantic and West Boca were both 7-1 on the season. But this week, FHSAA improved West Boca record to 8-0 after Western had to forfeit 2 games because of an illegible player. This game will be a dog fight. The game takes place this Friday, 11/1/24, at 6:30pm at West Boca High School. Will Atlantic get revenge against West Boca? Or will West Boca beat Atlantic for the second year in a row?
